Photo Capture Process

The photo capture workflow is designed to be fast and efficient for busy caregivers:

Take or Upload Photo

Use your device camera to capture photos or upload existing photos from your computer of food packages, labels, or receipts. Focus on one item per photo for best OCR results. The system works best with good lighting and clear text.

OCR Processing

The system automatically analyzes the photo using OCR technology to extract text and identify product information, expiry dates, and other relevant details.

Review & Confirm

Review the extracted information and make any necessary corrections before adding the item to your inventory. The system learns from your corrections.

After saving, the system automatically advances to capture the next item, making it easy to process multiple items quickly during shopping trips.
